Hello, I'm Paul. I'm a software engineer from Efrei Paris who particularly enjoys coding & climbing. I'm currently a software engineer at Algolia.

About me

I'm a Junior Software Engineer at Algolia, working in the Gen AI team. I completed my engineering studies at EFREI Paris and gained experience through internships at Algolia and Ariovis. My interests span full-stack development, AI agents, and developer tools. I build applications and tools with TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and Rust, alongside GraphQL and cloud services. I also develop open-source projects and share what I learn through technical writing.

When I'm not coding, you'll often find me bouldering in Fontainebleau or out for a run. I've been climbing in a club for 16 years and have also run the Paris marathon.

Junior Software Engineer - Algolia

Paris, France

Working in Algolia's Gen AI team as a Junior Software Engineer, continuing with the team after my final-year internship.

Oct 2026 - Present

Junior Software Engineer Intern - Algolia

Paris, France

Designed and evaluated multi-agent architectures for Agent Studio. Compared quality, latency, and cost across 1,499 ecommerce cases, then implemented A2A delegation across backend and frontend and validated it in staging. Also wrote and maintained three React InstantSearch guides and shared findings on Algolia's engineering blog.

President - Efrei Sport Climbing Club

Paris, France

Served as president from 2023 to 2024, then vice president until 2026. Helped grow the club from 80 members before my involvement to over 750 in my final year, four years later. Organized events, renegotiated partnerships, and improved member and team workflows with custom HelloAsso/AWS automation and Google Workspace.

Paris, France

Organized Efrei's full September 2025 integration month, welcoming 1,500 new students through more than 17 events. Delivered a weekend for over 860 participants, coordinating logistics across France. Recruited and led a 40-person team, collaborated with all 60+ school associations, built and managed a six-figure budget, secured funding, and negotiated with partners and contractors.

Software Architecture & Support Intern - Ariovis

Châtillon, France

Defined requirements, designed Figma prototypes, and built a customer support platform through its initial Odoo release in March 2025. Built IAM demonstration applications with Python, Flask, OpenID Connect, Keycloak, and SCIM, packaged applications with Docker, and created technical training and blog content.
